Simpler webdev, one stack at a time…

The user interface is quite simple for prettyPhoto. You need to add only one prettyPhoto stack to your page.

The checkboxes explained:
  • Theme: use the slider to select one of the 5 themes included: Light Rounded, Light Square, Dark Rounded, Dark Square, and Facebook (see samples below)
  • Opacity (%): slider allows you to control the opacity of the lightbox from 0% (completely transparent) to 100% (completely dark)
  • Overlay: select the color of the lightbox's background
  • Animation Speed: input box accepts 3 possible values: normal (default), slow, or fast and controls how quickly the lightbox appears on the screen
  • Slideshow: check to show content of galleries as a slideshow
  • Autoplay Slideshow: check to autoplay slideshows of galleries
  • Show Thumbnails: check to show navigation thumbnails in the lightbox window
  • Interval (sec): set the timing for the slideshow
  • Separator text: select the text that will appear when navigating in galleries, e.g. 1 / 3, 1 of 5, 1 out of 6, etc.
  • Title font size: set the size of the title or description text that appears at the bottom of the lightbox (in %)
  • Title color: set the color of the title or description text
  • Nav font size: set the size of the navigation text (in %)
  • Navigation color: set the color of the navigation text
  • Inline Width: set the default width for inline content
