stepMate Stack
The stepMate stack is designed as 2 separate components:
- The stepMate stack which controls the basic styling of the canvas. Its settings are described below
- The stepMate Layer stack which is used to create the actual layers
stepMate Stack Settings*
- Width: set the width of the canvas (in pixels)
- Height: set the height of the canvas (in pixels)
- Transparent Background: check to allow the page background to show through
- Background: set the background color for the canvas
- Drop Shadow: check to create a drop shadow behind the canvas
- Border Width: set the width of the border around the canvas
- Border Color: set the color of the border around the canvas
- Border Radius: set the radius of the border around the canvas
- Start delay (sec): set the delay after which the animation will start (in seconds)
- Controls on Right: check to position the Next, Previous, and Restart controls on the right side of the canvas
- Arrow Style**: select the style of the arrows or icons used to control stepMate. Set to 0 for Text controls, 1-10 to select one of the built-in sets of icons, and 11 to select a custom set of icons (entered in the 3 Image wells on top right of the Edit window)
- Previous Text: customize the text for the Previous button. Will also be used as a tooltip
- Next Text: customize the text for the Next button. Will also be used as a tooltip
- Restart Text: customize the text for the Restart button. Will also be used as a tooltip
*If the info box (HUD) is too long for your screen size, follow these 3 steps:
- Drag the RW project window down
- Drag the info box (HUD) up, past the top of the RW project window
- Drag the RW project window back up
stepMate Layer Stack Settings
There are no settings in the stepMate Layer stack. Its sole purpose is to create a layer and all the relevant information must be entered in the Edit mode window. Please refer to the stepMate info page.
